My name is Nikki and I graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2023. My goal with this blog is to share some insights I have for death care, end-of-life care, as well as the fascinating world of death from the sciences, arts, and cultures surrounding it. 

My view on death is that it's very simply a part of life and part of everyone’s journey. I want to help people realize this and help them come to terms with this fact so that it doesn't become a source of fear. Sometimes the best way to do that is to face it head on and learn more about it.

So, hopefully, this blog helps you and your loved ones learn a bit of what goes on behind that mysterious curtain.
