My name is Nikki and I'm currently enrolled at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. My goal with this blog is to share my journey thoughout school as well as share some insights I have for the death care industry and end-of-life care as a whole. 

My view on death is that it's very simply a part of life and part of everyone’s journey. I want to help people realize this and help them come to terms with this fact so that it doesn't become a source of fear. Sometimes the best way to do that is to face it head on and learn more about it. So, hopefully, this blog helps you and your loved ones learn a bit of what goes on behind the curtain of your funeral home.
